About us

Kanlungan Oy is a reliable and flexible company that operates in the Helsinki metropolitan area in home care. We are a provider of private health care services and a provider of social and health services registered with the Regional State Administrative Agency and Valvira. The company employs two owners, a nurse and  community nurse. Our customers are mainly elderly people living at home.

 

The importance of home care for the customer is at the heart of our operations. It is important to us that the client is allowed to participate in the decision-making of their own life and influence matters concerning themselves in their own home. It’s great to take services to people to their homes! Their wishes and needs are taken into account individually.

Kanlungan is a Filipino word meaning security and a place where everyone is like a family member.  

Our story began in April 2019 when we aspiring entrepreneurs founded Kanlungan to provide care for the elderly and take care of those who have made life possible for our younger generations.  We are nurses specializing in the care of the elderly by profession and we invest proudly in caring for the elderly.  In our hearts, we care about our customers as well as our own families.  

Kanlungan’s job is not only to care for the elderly, but to be here to make them feel at home as a family.

If we work directly for a private client, we will determine the need for the service with him or her or his or her legal representative, agree on the division of labor, and enter into a written service agreement. The number of hours and the price are also agreed in the contract.

I can monitor the quality of my own work by following the self-monitoring plan. Quality service includes the customer's overall care and quality of life. The care plan is an aid and a tool in nursing. The need for support services is also recorded in the service plan. Customer satisfaction and overall well-being is a sign of quality.

Customer feedback is requested either within your own company or together with the company purchasing the service. Immediate feedback is the interaction between the client and the caregiver during the visit.
